The Gospels are filled with examples of Jesus healing the sick, demonstrating that divine healing is part of God’s plan of restoration. "He cast out spirits with a word and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses,'" is what is written in Matthew 8:16–17. In Mark 2:1-12, Jesus heals a paralyzed man and simultaneously pardons his sins, one of the most powerful examples.
